For over 4 decades the MLD has been enrolling Illinois residents in quality insurance plans.
In 1993 Mark Dupré opened the MLD Agency after years of working for other large insurance companies like Prudential and Met Life. Our first mission was to work with local business owners and help them enroll their employees in Group health insurance and Group benefit plans. In less than 5 years the our client base grew over 200% with clients being serviced throughout the Chicagoland area.
After a decade of success with local businesses across Illinois, we expanded our service offerings to the 65 and over group along with individuals in need of private insurance.
The Affordable Care Act of 2012 changed insurance forever but the MLD Agency was well prepared for the changes. We are proud to touch the lives of people in every stage of their life. Whether you are employed, ready for Medicare, or seeking marketplace insurance the MLD has you covered.
Home, auto, umbrella, and property and casualty became another addition to our growing services not long after Medicare and Marketplace so we can offer our clients all the coverage they need under one roof.

Mark Dupré
CEO / President & Licensed Insurance Broker
The owner and Founder of the MLD Agency with over 4 decades of experience in the insurance industry. Mark graduated from Andrews University with BS in Business, Organization, and Management. After graduation, he spent a few years working at ACE Hardware where he met Mr. T and Suzanne Summers!
His insurance carrier started at Prudential where he sold life insurance, won Rookie of the Year, and became Director of Agencies. Though he loved working for Prudential his entrepreneurial spirit which he admits comes from his Mother led him to found the MLD Agency in 1993. The main focus at that time was group health insurance and group benefits for businesses though after a decade his passion to help people expanded the business into Medicare, Marketplace, Home, Auto, Umbrella, and all types of insurance products.
When Mark is not saving the world’s toughest insurance problems he is enjoying time with his beautiful wife and daughter. He also loves playing the baritone, photography, and speeding around town on his scooter or electric bike!
Michelle J Davulis
Marketing Director, Licensed Agent
Michelle joined the MLD team in 2019 as our marketing director and became a licensed agent along the way. She plays an intricate part in communicating Mark’s vision and mission and adding some fun to an otherwise boring industry.
She completed a BS in Business Administration in Marketing along with obtaining an MBA in Marketing Strategy and Management. If that wasn’t enough she became certified in Multi-channel Marketing Strategy at DePaul University to keep her skills up to date.
When she’s not communicating our message her favorite activity is riding horses with her daughter.
